Kyle Lowry was born on March 25, 1986. He attended Cardinal Dougherty High School in Philadelphia. Kyle Lowry was first Drafted into the NBA by the Memphis grizzlies with the 24th overall pick in the 2006 NBA draft.
Lowry looked forward to a long career with the Grizzlies, and was surprised when the team picked another point guard, Mike Conley Jr., with the fourth pick in the 2007 NBA draft Though Lowry and Conley were friends, Lowry predicted that the difference in their draft positions meant his future would not be on the Grizzlies. On January 25, 2009, the team named Lionel Hollins as the new head coach, and Lowry was told that the team was committed to Conley as a starter.
On the NBA trade dead line, Kyle Lowry got drafted to the Huston Rockets on February 19 2009. That was the every first year that Kyle Lowry made it to the NBA playoffs. Huston rockets lost that year in the western Conference Semi-Finals to the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference finals. On July 11, 2012, Lowry was traded to the Toronto Raptors. Still after 4 years of playing on Toronto Raptors, Kyle Lowry is still playing as part of there starting line up. In 2015-16 NBA, Lowry played 77/82 games and averaged 21 points and 4 rebounds per game.
